Soft Skills and Well-being
This 20-hour intensive course spans 6 days and is specifically designed for teachers and educational staff seeking to enhance their soft skills and well-being strategies. The program combines interactive workshops, practical sessions, and a carefully curated field trip in Portugal that showcases well-being practices in educational settings. Participants will develop essential interpersonal skills while learning techniques to manage stress, prevent burnout, and create positive learning environments.

Day three: Effective Communication and Active Listening
▪ Techniques for clear, assertive, and empathetic communication
▪ Fun exercises: storytelling, improv games, and debate club
▪ Non-verbal communication and body language awareness
Day four: Communication Excellence
▪ Active listening workshop with paired exercises
▪ Non-verbal communication in multicultural classrooms
▪ Difficult conversations framework: The HEAR model (Hold space, Empathize, Acknowledge, Respond)
▪ Practice scenario: Communicating challenging feedback effectively
Day five: Digital Education
▪ The physiology of stress: Educational context
▪ Stress inventory: Identifying your personal triggers
▪ The impact of chronic stress on teaching performance and student outcomes
▪ Resilience assessment: Where are you now?
▪ The 4R framework: Recognition, Reflection, Regulation, and Restoration
▪ Mindfulness practice: Three techniques for classroom application
▪ Creating your personalized self-care action plan
Day six: Cultural Insights and Real-Life Applications
▪ Visit to a traditional Portuguese garden or natural setting
▪ Guided reflection activity connecting nature and well-being
▪ Group discussion on cultural approaches to work-life balance
▪ Time management for well-being: Work smarter, not harder
▪ Collaborative planning: Adapting Portuguese practices to your context

Certification
▪ All participants will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course. Additionally, an Europass Mobility Certificate can be issued upon request.
▪ Our courses are developed and delivered in full compliance with the Quality Standards for courses under Key Action 1.
▪ We also provide support to participants in completing Learning Agreements and any other necessary documentation required by their organization.
Costs and Erasmus+ funds (The cost can be funded by Erasmus+ programme KA1 mobility of staff)
Course fee: 560 €
The amount includes preparation for the course, training, training materials and organizational costs, coffee breaks and a guided tour.
Accommodation and meals are not included.
